Welcome in the Living room, a place for women in Berlin. If you want to join us at events, please subscribe to the meetup group, or send us an email to be added to the WhatsApp group. How does it work ? If you fancy going to an event you sawon our calendar, you can ask on the WhatsApp chat if anyone is going, and make a group. We advertise only events for women, lesbians, transwomen, non binary person, in English.  If an event seems to be worth it but is advertised in german or anoter language, then we specify it on the calendar. If you want to create a event on meetup via the L.Iving room group, just ask, we'll make event organizer for it. Feel free and at home :) If you know an event fitting the L.Iving room's target, and don't see it on the calendar, let us know ! You'll get a gift for it :)

Who are we ?

We are a community of Queer women-identifying and Non-Binary persons 18+. Our main language is English.

We're trying to build up an active community to make it easy to meet people, especially if you're new in town or just looking for like-minded friends.

What do we stand for ?

We fight for gender equality, integration, cultural expression for women and promotion of arts. We stand with the demand of the 2019 CSD to create more visibility for our minority.

What is our project ?

We want to integrate the international queer women community (and of course also germans) and make space for exchange, because we are under represented in the LGBTQ* world as we are everywhere. Our goal is to have an actual living room were we can gather, relax and have drinks. Also we want to provide a space to share cultural events, do performances, organize workshops, screen movies / documentaries...

What do we do  ?

As for now we don't have an actual living room, we organize and join queer events. Our focus is on events in english for women and  non-binary people.

This is a very open group, everybody is welcome to organize meetups any time. We will organize meetups on a regular base, but if you want to go to another event and are still looking for people to join, feel free to create a meetup yourself.(How does it work on meetup?)

How can you participate to the project ?

If you want to help us build up the project, don't hesitate to contact us on the group or at an event. We have regular organizational meetings and we're still looking for people to help us found an official e.V.
